Sorry, but...I'm trying to apply logic to this.
I know it's possible but...

| It's a badly-written sentence, but what it's clearly trying to say is that she gained eleven stepbrothers when her parent married theirs. They've got a twenty-one year spread, so it's entirely possible they're all from the same couple(now if only she had a half-dozen sisters so I could make a Yours, Mine And Ours joke). |
