MomoCon: Anime/Gaming/Comics/Costuming Convention
Dates: March 8-10, 2013 Location: Hilton Atlanta (Atlanta, GA) www.momocon.com Hotel & Free Room Nights Contest: Details Here Membership Details: * Pre-Reg 3-Day Pass: $30 (thru Feb 24th) * At the door 3-Day Pass: $40 MomoCon returns for its ninth year of fun and fandom. We are proud to call the Hilton Atlanta home in 2013. Literally across the street from last year's location, we have added more than 30-thousand square feet of event space. That means bigger panel rooms, less crowding, and more places to get great photos for all 900+ hours of programming. A mix of old favorites and brand new surprises are in-store for 2013 from concerts, to panels, to guests, to our rave, to our gaming room and beyond! Stay tuned as we will be posting the latest developments as soon as they are confirmed. Open Call for Art: Badge, Program Book, T-shirt, promo materials. Passing the word from the Director of Artist's Alley:
Artists Alley registration for MomoCon 2013 will be available on oct. 17th, 9pm EST via http://www.momocon.com/artists/ through a form. Reservations will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis in 2013. Available space for artists in 2013 is significantly increased due to excess demand. We will be auditing our application process in 2013 for improvements in 2014. Artists who are accepted will be able to purchase a 6 foot table with 4 feet behind clearance with two chairs for $100 (this includes 2 weekend memberships). The Artists Alley will be located in the same location as the Dealers Room, the bottom floor of the Hilton Atlanta. Due to its location, the AA will keep the same hours as the Dealers Room. Friday - 1pm-7pm Saturday - 10am-7pm Sunday - 10am-5pm The room will be secured overnight. If you have questions, please feel free to email [email protected] at any time. |

MomoCon On Tour: Tybee Island Photoshoot Saturday October 20th Cost: FREE! Location (approximate) 301 1st Street, Tybee Island, GA [URL="https://www.facebook.com/events/129691547178224/"]Facebook Event Link[/URL] --- Bring your best costumes for a free photoshoot on the beach at Tybee Island near Savannah, GA! All ages are welcome to this shoot, held on the north end of the beach (near the Sugar Shack). Looking to show off that Halloween costume early and get some great beach photos? Our MomoCon photographers will be on-hand to capture some great shots! Coming from Savannah? Take highway 80 to Tybee Island and turn left at 2nd avenue (at the Sugar Shack). We will be right on the beach at this beach entrance. Meter parking is available, bring a few quarters. The address of the event is the Sugar Shack, turn left when you get to it. Our photographers will capture your best pose and all photos will be available online after the shoot. People not in costume who'd just like to hang out are also welcome! |
