And where's the Angel/Dust manga form they said that they were going to put out HOW long ago? It's a pity I don't by Newtype anymore, but now I'm kinda angry because I've been waiting for them to release the first Angel/Dust manga like they said they would.

Rock on! Rolling Eyes

But you also get the following:

Cover - Renton and Eureka of Eureka Seven
Centerfold - Sora Naegino from Kaleido Star - New Wings Cool
Official art - Gankutsuou (7 pages) Cool Cool
Voice actress spotlight - Mika Kikuchi (Arika in My-Otome)
"How to art" - Hoden Eizo
Profile - Junichi Sato (Kaleido Star, Princess Tutu, Aria) Cool

Newtype Express - Japan section: The Wings of Rean; Binchotan; Magikano; Witchblade; Shinigami no Ballad; Inukami!; Utawareru Mono; Rec

Newtype Express - U.S. section: My-Hime; Gundam SEED Destiny; UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie; and the remastered Armored Trooper Votoms.

DVD: Episode 1 of Boys Be... (dubbed only), Episode 1 of Diamond Daydreams (dubbed and subbed), Episode 1 of The Fuccons (dubbed only) and Episode 2 of Macross (dubbed and subbed)

I say it's worth the $13; but then again, I have a subscription, so I'm paid up for the entire year.

Oh well, i guess that's to be expected, it is ADV Manga after all... is there anyone actually working in their manga department?

I wonder if there were plans to release the first story in book format. Or was it released. They serialized 'Angel Dust' in Newtype USA.

That's all fine if I wanted any of those things. : P

I'd only buy a Newtype if it had some articles or something on the DVD that really interested me. Maybe I'm just cheap (or poor), but $13 seems like a virgin sacrifice.

They already did. I have the book sitting on my shelf right now. (it's very cheap in quality though i have to say... feels flimsy etc.)

Oh really, that's great to hear! Smile
However it's sad based on it's printing quality. Sad

I own the import version that came out before it was serialized here. Again they ran it in 'Newtype' (JP) and then compiled the full story. Grabbed many fans who were very willing to translate the story. I'm pretty surprised that they even released it here.

That, and the profile of Junichi Sato and the Sora Naegino poster is worth buying. I could always use another poster of my hero Sora. Very Happy

But the first episode of Kita e. ~Diamond Dust Drops~ is what I'm really anxious to see, especially since my favorite VA Jessica Boone is suppose to be voicing the main character (Atsuko Akanegi) of the first two episodes, so it's something I'm definitely looking forward to. Razz
