I never read the manga nor saw the Korean movie, but I do agree that it would probably be better for it to be an "interpretation" rather than an exact remake. I prefer my adaptations (regardless of medium or country of origin) to be like that.

Sounds good. I like Josh Brolin, and I hope this movie is reviewed well enough for me to go see when it comes out.
