The first BD sold over 13k copies. That all but guarantee's a 2nd season. They'd be dumb not too

And here was me willing to wager that the reason for the delay was that they had written an ending and then somebody in the office was like 'holy crap guys, look at these sales numbers' and somebody else was like 'Oh my god' *walks over to the desk and throws the storyboard for episode 11 and 12 in the bin * 'start again, we need to rewrite this for a second season'.

Its pretty standard protocol to deny any kind of sequel until they are ready to officially announce it.

Yup, in case anybody forgot, the author of Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san denied that a second season was in the works the day before the second season was officially announced.
GuP 99% has a sequel being planned, and you can bet that's the cause of delaying episodes 11 and 12. |

I love this series, but what would they do in a second season? Pull a Saki and show another school? I'll go for that.

The more tank battles, the better. I would have liked to see Gloriana and Black Forest's other matches, or just generally explore more of the sport. |
