I think he's well enough established that he choses when and how much he works now. At least I hope so. We certainly don't want him to create another rushed ending to Last Order and leave the series unfinished for another 5 years. Gunnm Gaiden was first published in 1997, it included three stories, two about Ido's past, and a side story that occurs between volumes 3 & 4 of the main manga. I've heard that there's also a story that takes place during Gally's days as a "Tuned" but I know nothing about it. -t |

Well he has been working on the Gunm -Last Order- for quite a bit. I don't know if any US distributor has obtained the series tho. Its a reinterpretation of the last volume.
It feels like a Alita Saga now. It's actaully great since he is using digital based technology to write his manga and he makes full use of it so that it adds more taste to his works. Tho the last few issues of Ultra Jump with Gunm has been sidetracking a bit; |
