Gundam 8th MS Team Vol.4
http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0001DCY78/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new

New:2 listings, one for $2,002.97 and another for $2,000.
Used:$8.44

Wha...?

This has to be someones idea of a joke. This DVD only has 3 episodes on it. By comparison, the 2005 Complete Collection (which I own) goes for $696, while the 2009 Anime Legends set goes for $128.

Guess this guy doesn't realize that Funimation rescued the show and that nobody would be dumb enough to buy this series for $90. Rightstuf had to mark down their stock to $7 and finally sold out this year.

I had no idea it had got so rare, though. Just one offered for sale on Amazon. Wow.

Several copies are up for sale. But the cheapest available on Amazon from a seller is for $130. Cheapest copy I can find of the tape online is on E-Bay at nearly $100.

I'd like to see the movie at some point as I'm a sap for adaptations of classic Japanese literature. But I'm not desperate enough to pay an arm and a leg for what is only a 2 hour movie.

Oops. I see I was not navigating Amazon correctly.
Strange that they are all so expensive when there are, as you say, several up for sale. (I got my copy two years ago or so, and it wasn't nearly that expensive.)

Anyone want Animeigo's old VHS release of Rupan III: Legend of the Gold of Babylon? Get a look at this "great" offer.

Wow! I got this on DVD a few years ago for about 8$ I really don't understand how amazon allows this kind of idiocy on there.

Take it the release must be some sort of import? Last I had heard, Discotek was considering releasing the movie on DVD a while back, but scrapped those plans.

You could buy a new copy of Please Save My Earth Vol. 1, advertised on Amazon from around $18. But who would do that when they could get it second hand in "Very Good" condition for $250?!

Well, I've seen volume eight of Maison Ikkoku listed for some pretty extreme prices. However, this takes the cake. Some guy has it listed on ebay for only $19,999.99. But hey, at least he accepts offers. Wink

Hmmm. New. Still wrapped, no doubt. Maybe I should buy it as an investment.

TRSI de-listed the Pokemon Adventures boxset today. For the most part, Amazon prices are still normal, except in the used section where I would wager multiple algorithms keep messing with each other, resulting in the lowest used copy being $900. Actually, scratch that, the new prices are just as ridiculous. Also, it should be noted that only the boxset appears to be OOP, the individual volumes not in a box is fine.

Well-P.T. Barnum said "There's a sucker born every minute" but one would have to be a brain dead idiot with a fortune to buy this.

Oh wow. You can buy the complete Pandora Hearts Premium Edition just for 400 dollars!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/181133956505?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

And I don't think they won't take anything under 300.

So how desperate are you to get Maison Ikkoku's final volume box set?

Be prepared to give up a car for it, if you're desperate for it. Laughing
