| You can't see a sequel because Bill's dead. Oh wait, Elle's not exactly dead, but you never know. But if he wants it to be anime, it's goona have to premier in Japan first. | ||||||

First post in a thread regarding Hollywood live-action projects and it's a snarky negative statement from Gatsu! WHAT A SHOCK Keep up the obvious trolling and I might actually ban you until Comic-Con is over and Transformers and Battle Angel are both out so we won't have to hear your extremely predictable "commentary" anymore. |

That's not true, the second Vampire Hunter D movie was released in the US before it say a Japanese release. Anyway, I seem to remeber hearing about this before, so I doubt that we'll see anything come of this, at least not any time in the near future. Oh, and quick addition. Remeber those spoiler tags, I actually hasn't seen the second Kill Bill movie yet, though I figured spoiler[Bill died], it's still just a matter of being polite. |

| fighter: The sequel is supposed to be Vernita's daughter versus the bride.
Zac:
I don't see how the truth is negative in your eyes.
Then I'll just be vindicated when everyone realizes that Bay and Cameron's 15 minutes ended a long time ago, if they haven't already. |

| in my opinion determining whether a cartoon is anime or not depends more on who's involved in the project. Remember when the Animatrix came out people considered the shorts anime because it featured a lot of renowned anime directors and studios making the short even if it premiered in North America first. The Kill Bill animated sequence is also considered anime because it was done by Production I.G and the same with Linken Park's breaking the habit video it was animated by Gonzo therefore it's considered anime even though it was intended for a U.S audience so i don't really buy that argument that a show needs to be shown in Japan first I believe sooner or later we'll start seeing anime premier simultaneously with Japan and North America.
Though I gotta give props where props is due, Japan is the Mecca for anime. As for the Kill Bill prequel, sounds cool |

Completely forgot about that one, heck I knew about that one too.
You keep making all these movies that you don't know what is going to happen in them, sound like a bunch of bulls*** movies. Come on! Can you give us a break?!
How about eviction? |

Fair enough. I'll try to be less harsh in my analyses. |

I believe that Quentin got a little bit of an edge on Cameron. First Tarantino has a good rep, with Japanese anime company and also I think that if Tarantino wants it done it will happen. Also he could make a vast majority of the decisions and let it be off to inkers, whereas Cameron is a control freak we all know that his little project will never see air. He got a trilogy that he wants to do first. |

| I love the Kill Bill movies. They're some of my all-time favorites. I watch 'em alomost every weekend. I'd love to see and anime prequel to them. I remember the animated sequence in the first one, and I thought that was awesome. If they make it, I'll definitely buy it. Although, I'm not going to get my hopes up yet. I'll wait for more news about it to come out. | ||||||

Does this mean that's it's made in Japan? If so, mabey that's the reason why Kill Bill Chapter 3 is on the Encyclopedia. Sounds like Tarantino is traveling to Japan to work on an anime. |

| QT has been talking about these two ideas for two years now; but I have full confidence that he'll get it done. I wonder who he'd choose for the Japanese dub (perhaps Gogo will return |

| If/when these Kill Bill prequels happen, they should be AWESOME, just AWESOME. I'm a fan of Quentin's work, and his directing style is a big influence on my book (and will be on my future books).
Finally I see someone mention that the Breaking the Habit video is anime. So, can we get that added to the database, then? |

| Oh, how exciting! Now watch as my Kill Bill Fandom will go back in gear as soon as these babies come out. That's really awesome to know.
Oh, and for the "anime needs to premiere in Japan first to be considered anime," statement, I believe that this is incorrect. I call "G.I. Joe Sigma 6" an anime, even though it premiered in America first. To be official anime, it should be made in Japan. That, I believe, is enough to call it an anime. Wow, sure said anime a lot there... |
