Well Sony did release Torne in Japan which is TV for your PS3 and PS Vita while earning trophies(or at least I know the PS3 version has trophies).

Not a surprising development. WebTV boxes are becoming quite a thing these days and I have a Roku2 myself which I would say I now use more often than actual broadcast TV or cable/satellite. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this is a similar concept since a lot of companies, including Apple and Google, are entering this market.

All well and good for those in Japan with 100Meg, or higher Broadband, but anywhere else in the world struggling with 40Meg , or lower, a bit pointless watching through all the buffering on your big screen. But hey! someday we'll all have 100 Meg and higher broadband. Sadly I won't live to see it in the UK.

Well, hopefully you can make it to the finish line in one piece.

And Xbox TV. Everyone wants a piece of "TV."

It's pretty funny. TV is just getting more and more out of date and irrelevant amongst the youth.

I'd rather those youths went outside without heir smartphones for once, then they'll understand.

"TV" is just changing. In the future, "TV" could also mean Youtube, Crunchyroll, social media, etc.

"TV" in itself isn't changing. How the signal gets to the screen is what's evolving.

It's a shame we have to pay either way.
