When it comes to the series Eiken, I know that a lot of people have been scarred by this series, but aftre reading the manga and thinking about the anime, I will reinstate the nightmares presented by this series.
Now, for topic subject, WHO is your favorite character from Eiken? Mine would be Yuriko Shinonome. On account for her having the most REALISTIC body in the entire Eiken cast, she is also not willing to step aside from having a shot at Densuke. She also ain't shy, as I've well seen in bath houses and other places. PS: I could be doing this to see who WILL NOT answer this question, or I could be doing it to see how perverted you are. Are you going to risk it?

I'll answer any question; hell, I'll answer questions you haven't even asked yet.  If there's one thing I am on the internet at least, it's brutally honest and shameless.
My favorite: the little sister character. I can't remember her name, as it's been a long time since I've seen it, but the scene where she jumps and 'tackles' the main character with a 'panties to the face' maneuver was done pretty well here. Also, I love the shameless and younger (not neccessarily loli, just younger than me) girls, so it's a win-win here. Also the scene where they're sliding down the (chocolate?) slide and she was trying to get a feel was probably the only time I was actually laughing audibly during the whole show as it was just so indescribably silly. EDIT: I like boobs as much as the next guy (though obviously not as much as the target audience for this show), but if I can't even pretend to imagine they're real... it's just not hot, it's pathetic and an eyesore. |

You two mean to say you actually made it through the whole series!? I couldn't even make it through one episode. The massive boobs kept getting in the way and pulling me right back out of it. I do remember the water slide(I think that's what it was) where all the girls and the main guy were all going down together though not purposefully, something happened and it turned into an extremely ecchi scene where one of the girls tops started sliding up and her arms were pinned by someone else so she couldn't fix it.

It strikes me that every time the topic of Eiken comes up, an awful lot of hypocrisy gets aired. First off, most posters agree to regard the series as near-pornographic garbage. However, they then either reveal that they saw the whole thing (why, if it's such garbage?) or that they "couldn't make themselves watch it" because of the excessive boobage (*cough* bullshit *cough*).
What it comes down to is hypocritical pretense. Now, as for myself... I enjoyed Eiken, I found it a wonderfully hilarious send-up of the ecchi format, and I think it's amusing that people are so vocal about their pretended dislike of the anime. - abunai |

Say what you will, but I know I'm not lying. I'm not trying to put anyone down with what I said previously, I was just surprised they made it through it. More power to them. I couldn't do it, I found the show quite ridiculous and the ridiculous size of breasts and tiny waists didn't help it. I tend to like characters more real in proportions and they were far from. On top of that I'm not that big of a fan of harem. I have seen my fair share of ecchi and that sort but I don't own many(if any) and after watching them once, I've generally had my fill. Eiken just gave me my fill really quickly. |

I thought it was funny, though the giant boobs were more of a distraction to the goings-on than not. I like my anime babes just a touch more realistic. I don't like my pretend boobs bigger than, say, Orihime or Rangiku from Bleach. Shows like Bakuretsu Tenshi or Tenjou Tenge are fun, but the women's figures are more like a caricature to me than truly attractive.

 I'm surprised that you're surprised that discussion of this particular anime would turn to breast size.
Four people made five replies, & you didn't like four of them. Perhaps you should consider asking a different question. Which female character is my favorite? Can't say. I watched it once about six months ago & haven't watched it since. I remember a bossy girl, she was funny. |

anyway, im one of the few that actually liked this show, i thought it was freaking funny, and love it to DEATH!! however i dont reemmber anyones names...... My favorite character is either that little sister who kept making the main guy grope her and what-not or the teacher? that had blonde hair and wore the Chinese looking clothing, especially when she showed the maid how to deep-throat a chocolate covered banana.

Who said that? FH? No, nothing of the sort. Me? Hardly, I said I watched it, but thought the indescribably large boobs were not attractive in the slightest. MJ? No, he said he couldn't finish it, though he said he at least made it far enough to remember the scene I mentioned. This show is nearly pornographic garbage, but it's funny near pornographic garbage (at times). There's no hypocrisy involved. I never said it was a terrible show, just that the only thing the gigantic boobs did for me was provide some comic relief. I'm really confused at what the point of your post is now that I really look at it. Why even post such nonsense if you're not responding to any particular post? Not to mention that you didn't even seem to answer the original question to begin with

As a person who have never read its manga or watch its anime, I can say that I'm fairly objective on the issue. Based on plot summaries from the official site, I'd say it's a typical harem romantic comedy overloaded with fanservice. Bit cliched and not the best anime around, but certainly not the worst either. Many forum participants find female characters' oversized boobs repulsive. Sure, they are exaggerated, but so are big eyes (most shoujo titles, or most anime in general), extra-long legs (CLAMP and Ai Yazawa), and talking animals. If you don't like unrealistic stuff (most anime are, mind you), fine; it's a personal choice. However, I found "oversized boob haters" (of Eiken or similar titles) unproportionally numerous and vocal. Hypocrisy? Probably. Not to mention that fighterholic's postscript is very offensive to the creators and fans of the series.

I don't find the large boobs repulsive because they are obscenely large. I can't say I'd find that particularly attractive in reality though. Either way, it's blatant fanservice and the anime itself is just one huge excuse for fanservice and I've never been big on fanservice. I fail to see how disliking something so shallow because it is what it is makes me, or anyone else, a hypocrite.
It just doesn't work, it's all fanservice and really very little substance otherwise, sorry but I don't find that enjoyable. Add in to the fact that a bit of it is basically loli, the poor script, bad humor and repetitive nature and it just doesn't come across as a very good anime to me or others. |

I'm not saying his point isn't valid, nor am I saying that I don't even agree for that matter. People do complain way too much about this sort of thing. However, I fail to see the point of flaming people who haven't said anything yet (I don't know who those comments were directed at, but it looks to be people who posted in other threads as far as I can tell). It's one thing to ask a question and then flame idiots who respond with nonsense, but it's quite another to respond to a question in a fashion like this: "Who likes big boobs?" "PEOPLE WHO DUN LIKE THIS SCHOW WIT BIG BOOBZ ARE LIARS AND R STUPID!!1" Just because I was the first person to say something doesn't make my point any less valid. TBH, I really like abunai's posts in general, so it struck me as rather odd that he would say something so rash and completely out of place, but I won't hold my opinion back on a matter because I liked his other posts. If he's gonna flame idiots form other threads on a topic, do it in those threads not in a completely seperate thread of similar content. To me, he just seemed to be looking for an excuse to flame people, even if noone had said or done anything yet. Maybe they would in the near future of this thread, but that doesn't mean anything until they do it. |
