Additionally, this is an alias:
Ken Gates

Source: www.rodgerparsons.com

While the website does not state it, it does mention him as the narrator of Pokémon, for which (while not credited to the role) he was always in the credits. The voice clips match Gates from what I know in Valkyrie Profile as well. While Wikipedia has Gates as the main name, I'm pretty sure Parsons should be the real one, particularly since IMDb notes some non-anime credits from the late 80's for him (of course, also the name links to his website, too, so that should indicate it's his professional name at least)

Here're a couple marriage-related dupes:

Alison Retzloff is now

Alison Viktorin

and

Kate Borneman/Bornemann is now

Kate Oxley

Hope that helps!

I did report Alison Retzloff's new name a while back, but did not know the reason for the change.

Yoku Shioya #5494 and Tsubasa Shioya #4355 are the same person. Tsubasa is his real name, and his separate entries even have the same birthdate listed.

Kisei YAMADA
Tatsuo YAMADA

I was in the middle of adding credits to the first listing today when I noticed that these two appear to be the same person. I don't know what's the correct reading of the name; however, Tatsuo Yamada is what's listed on the American DVDs of Mazinkaiser and Getter Robo Armageddon.

3. Fumitoshi Oizaki vs Oisaki
Fumitoshi Oisaki = Fumitoshi Oizaki (correct, though less entries)

Most Japanese sites have furigana as Oizaki, I don't think I've seen any Oisaki. Lots of sites (I recommend googling 追崎史敏 ふみとし)
including 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. Further proof is that he's apparently co-written the ending for Keroro Gunso (eps 19-26): 作詞:おいざきふみとし+もりちよこ according to here

This appears to an official site for him: http://oichanchi.client.jp/

and it has "Oizaki" (as I have seen on ADV's Kaleido Star release). I'm pretty sure that one is supposed to be correct.

In addition to Oizaki, here's another one particularly urgent given the amount of roles under wrong duplicate (seems I even contributed some under the wrong name Shocked):

Dai MATSUMOTO
Hiroshi MATSUMOTO (false reading, going by Haikyo profile)

Yukio Abe and Yukie Abe. I don't know for sure, but the second one only has three credits - all in fields that Yukio Abe works in - and no other info. It looks like "Yukie" is just a typo.

Monty Repuyan is the same as Montreal Repuyan
Fourth Lee is Fourth Brilliante Lee
Weng Benavidez is also Rowena Benavidez
Jeffrey Utanes = Jefferson Utanes

Please merge the other pages into the pages of the names in bold.

(I've already searched the forums so hopefully I'm not just repeating anything) Smile

Sorry, my mistake. 原田大基 is read "Hiroki Harada" not "Daiki Harada." This is case #40246.

Similarly, 追崎史敏 is read "Fumitoshi Oizaki" not "Fumitoshi Oisaki," case #12652.

Ryou Azuki
Ryou Akizuki
The first one is credited for Story & Art for Stellvia (manga), the second one for Manga adaptation for Stelvia (TV).

The source sites for Azuki (site 1, site 2) seem not too reliable for me, especially compared to the DrMaster site, which says Akizuki.
A7, since you made the entry for Akizuki back in 2003, can you check the Japanese writing ?

The Stellvia manga (volume 2) at Amazon.co.jp. The author is listed as "秋月 亮", which can be transliterated as "Aki-zuki Ryou" (the "tsuki" is apparently changed to "zuki"), though I know that names can be difficult to pronounce properly, even for Japanese, never mind those like myself who fake it. ^_^

Ah—the author's site? (Found using the kanji as above in quotation marks.) "Ryo Akizuki" here, too. The respective Google searches:

"秋月 亮" (525 hits)
"秋月 亮" akizuki (two hits)
"秋月 亮" azuki (zero hits)
"秋月亮" (5,310 hits)
"秋月亮" akizuki (32 hits, including similar ones)
"秋月亮" azuki (twelve hits, including similar ones)

I think "Akizuki" is the most probable.

Edit: The kanji transliterations can also be confirmed (albeit a bit less directly) vie Animelab.com's dictionary, which uses the EDICT and KANJIDIC files.
