Nifty. I remember what was apparently the 1985 series from wwhen I was a kid. Should be fun, although it's likely the serie most likely to have it's name changed crossing the pond.

Hmm, I wonder what the cast will be like? Will Matsuoka Youko continue as Kitarou? I think she's played him for quite a while now.

Isamu Tanonaka has been the voice of Medama Oyaji (Pops Eyeball) in every anime version so far. He even played the part in some little-known live-action versions.
This is one of those anime where I go, "Why haven't they brought this show over yet?" (Dr. Slump is another) Maybe this new version will finally make it over. |
