Wow... how disturbing... a new manga company admittedly 'actively pursuing' the licensing of shounen-ai titles... just what we need... more gay manga... yaoi, if you will... great... no wonder I've been ignoring Go! Comi... we don't think alike...

No, it's not OEL manga... there is no such thing (unless you count Lagoon Engine Einsatz being published in English before Japanese as OEL)... if they'd just call it what it is, a comic book, I'd be more apt to look at it... but what makes manga 'manga' isn't the art style... it's the person drawing it... their background, the way they were raised, and the influences that has on the way they think, and the stories they can create... OEL comics are just regular US comics, drawn 'manga'-style... and most of them are just your regular comic book stories... |
