Shouldn't Matsumoto be focused on getting the rights back to Yamato, so we can finally get it subbed? Assuming Toei chooses not to sit on it of course...

Wow, that is really going back for just one verse...
Sounds silly to me. |

I thought that was already decided in court, and that Matsumoto basically lost out... and since my understanding of Japanese Appeal courts is little to squat I will stop there. |

Ah, Matsumoto and lawsuits...they go together like tails and ears on a catgirl.
Considering the amount of suing that accompanied the Yamato franchise over the years, I suppose he himself was overdue for another round of litigation, albeit in a different property case. It doesn't seem to be too much of a major deal, as it is only a verse. If it were an entire section of the song, lyrics or score, it would be more understandable. This all seems a little excessive for a counter to an apology request, whether warrented or not. I guess "imitation" isn't all that flattering in the end.
Also, to me, I always thought CHEMISTRY was more of an R&B group than pop or rap, but that's just my thoughts... |

I hate lawsuits. This is just another reason why.
*waaaaa* I'm a whiny bastard... You lifted a single line from something I released 30 years ago. I'd say I have at least $180,000 frickin dollars (!!) in mental anguish!!! Did I mention I'm a whiny bastard? |

Five volumes of the second series and the two movies released years and years ago on VHS.
That's more a burial than a release. # Maybe when they're done with Monster... |

Umm he is the one being sued if I am reading it right. He only asked for an apology for it. Though he probably asked more than once. |

Agreed... I got my five seconds worth of smug chuckles out of this one. I'd like the judge who gets this case to toss both men out on their collective rears and tell them to chill out. Talk about a clash of overblown egos. Plus I think Makihara has gone a bit past his "best before date" in the Japanese pop music scene. |

I wish he would...
The movies are subbed by Voyager Entertainment, but I'd like to be able to add the series(es?) to my collection, as well. Starblazers isn't good enough. |

I'm surprised disney didn't think of this earlier. Just think of all the people they could've press charges against for those simba/kimba accusations. |
