I have a question regarding how OAVs are listed in the encyclopedia. I searched through several pages and have not seen it addressed yet (though if it has, please point me towards the appropriate thread).
I am curious why some OAVs have their own separate encyclopedia page, while others are simply listed as extra episode titles within the main series pages. Is this just an oversight, or is there a specific reason for doing it this way? Examples: OAVs for Elfen Lied, HSotD, Mirai Nikki have their own pages. OAVs for Darker than Black, Another, Shiki, Kara no Kyoukai are included in their original series pages. |

Basically we'd follow the Japanese release format (whether the plot is within the story, a new title is assigned or not, produced by the same studio and committee, etc.) and decide on a case-by-case basis.
