I really like Bride's Story the artwork is fantastic and the hardbacks yen press has been putting out are very very nice.

Yay Kaoru Mori, I hoped you'd win! A Bride's Story is artistically breathtaking, and the author seems to do a good job conveying emotion as well. I've been following Ajin since it debuted on Crunchyroll, and it also seems pretty good, so going by that track record, I hope more of the titles on this list get licensed.

I like both Bride's story and Ajin but I really think that Boku Dake ga Inai Machi is better manga. It's damn shame that it didn't win ,it would have been a really good promotion.

Congrats to Kaoru Mori! Here's hoping this will help push for an anime adaptation of A Bride's Story. It'll be more challenging compared to Emma, which was set in Victorian England and is a setting that's much more well-known. But if Mori can write such a detailed story set in Central Asia with research she and her staff have done then I think it's possible for a studio to do the same.
