I've created an encyclopedia entry for LISA using her (romanized) birth name, Elizabeth Sakura NARITA.
However, it seems that a staff member must add her "Also known as" info. So please add LISA (all caps) as her aka. (I was unable to find a way.) This entry arose from Legend of the Galactic Heroes (OAV) which lists lisa (aka for Lisa Komine) as the artist for OP3 under Japanese staff. Then the thing to do is credit her aka with the OP, not her birth name. Finding good references for her info is a bit challenging, because she has changed labels twice since she did the OP for LoGH. She appears not to have any web site other than the one avex has for her. Also, LISA is less well-known (and older) than lisa and LiSA. Thanks. |

I can only create an AKA that doesn't already exist. What I think you wanted to do here was split Lisa then add Elizabeth Sakura NARITA as a birth name to one of them.
Since Risa Oribe is actually credited as LiSA what is needed it some really complicated three way split/merge/rename combo, which is way above my access level. --edit-- For reference: Lisa KOMINE, Elizabeth Sakura NARITA. |

I think what would then need to happen is to 1) split lisa by the LoGH role into lisa (singer 1*) and lisa (singer 2). 2) Add a dummy role to lisa (singer 2) and split that off into lisa (singer 3) 3) dormcat could then merge lisa (singer 3) into Risa Oribe and lisa (singer 2) into Elizabeth Sakura NARITA as AKAs 4) Dan could then fix the capitalization. * or similar |

Should I delete the LoGH credit for Elizabeth Sakura NARITA to make things easier, or does it not matter much? |

I can split but not merge or rename, so we really need a senior editor to weigh in before doing anything, since they would be doing to tricky stuff.
Since two of them are only ever credited as LISA or LiSA we don't strictly need entries with their full names at all (the "birth name" field would have sufficed), but entries can't (easily) be deleted once created. |
