Just like what prte007 said, the character's name is Tamako, not Tomako.
Also, those who have read the recent chapters of the manga (a.k.a. the chapters not adapted in the anime) would probably be able to recognize where this marketing concept came from. I wonder if customers could choose the stickers for the products, because based on the manga, spoiler[teenage boys prefer the slim Tamako, mothers prefer the fat yet healthy Tamako, while no one wants the pig sticker because it reminds of what they are eating.] I even wonder if they keep track of that. |
