At present, this creator is credited as Hitomi Efuku. However, the family name (江副) is pronounced Ezoe.

Is there any more authoritative source than a wiki available?

Efuku is not a pronunciation of this name. It can only be pronounced "Ezoe." I don't know exactly what site I can send you that proves that, but maybe this will help:

JWPce says that, as a surname, both "Ezoe" and "Efuku" are valid readings for 江副.

Is there any source for "Hitomi Efuku"? In the absence of one I would tend to go with the reading provided by a Japanese site. Even though it's a wiki IIRC it's a pretty reliable one. Also if I google for "江副仁美 えふくひとみ" I get no results but "江副仁美 えぞえひとみ" also has results (in addition to the wiki page) from some Kobe amateur singing contest. Maybe our little enshutsu likes to moolight as a singer?

Huh, well that actually worked and I wasn't sure it would.
I added Ezoe as a new AKA for Efuku then merged the two entries using the new function. |
