I didn't quite imagine him sounding like a hyperactive kid. Confused
(Nobi, yes, but not Dora.)

Only other English dub I'd ever heard was a bad Malaysian bootleg that made him sound like Herve Villechaize, but I sort of imagined Dora sounding more like Meowth from Pokemon.
Especially in the moments when he sighs "Not again...It's your own fault you know!" after Nobita begs him for a gadget.

(And according to the character descriptions, dorayaki are now "Yummy-Buns".)

By the way, the person voicing Doraemon is Mona Marshall, who's perhaps best known for playing Izzi in Digimon Adventure.
