I'm curious to know how Ghibli will be involved in this, aside from Goro Miyazaki being the director. I'm guessing they'll handle background art, character design and storyboarding. I'm also curious to know where the idea for this project came from, because if Ghibli is involved then why not animate it by hand?

I didn't say it's one of Ghibli's biggest hits. But it was well received and awarded. It's widely considered a good film. |

It's a Ghibli movie and people liked it. That's just how it is. Whether or not you personally liked it is irrelevant.
