I think you're right. Looking at it again, I realize I read it as I still don't know, rather than didn't know. It's awkward phrasing even when you read it right, but yeah.

Free Eternal Summer episode 6:
spoiler[Makoto] is awesome. Whether win or loss, he shows class and good sportsmanship. Take a good at greatness people. Pretty good episode with the swimming competitions. Haruka's childhood was also cute as I had expected. |

spoiler[Prefecturals are here!! Now we'll get to see just how much did they prepare for it. Harauka & Makoto swimming beginnings were sweet. Rin & Gou payed their respects.. Wow! Nagisa's parents actually cam to watching him compete, cool! Guess they finally recognized his efforts. Looks like it payed off to! Go Nagisa! Makoto managed to show his power too! Great! Gou seems to be excellent motivator for Momo LOL Rei was amazing as well. He must have worked hard! 200m freestyle was the best since both Haruka & Makoto were in it. That went as expected. The real battle was after that - Haruka vs Rin! That was amazing!! Damn, they were pretty tied too. Best episode so far!] |

spoiler[All of the Iwatobi boys came in first in their events! I'm so happy for them!] Would've loved to actually get to see Rei's race though...
As usual, there were many good parts in this episode. Nagisa and Nitori's funny little conversation, a flashback to Haru and Makoto's childhood, and spoiler[the elder Mikoshiba is back! I love the way the brothers interacted!] And of course, spoiler[Nagisa's parents coming to see him compete.] I was glad they included that. Next episode preview...Sousuke looks really, really angry. Probably something relate to Haru again... |

Nice episode. True, we didn't get to see an spoiler[awful lot of swimming], but i guess we're gonna see more of that next week. What i liked most was probably Gou and Rin spoiler[visiting their father's grave together and him giving that photo to her.] That was very symbolic for the character development he's gone through. Looks like we're gonna get spoiler[some real drama] next week? About time, we're almost halfway through after all...

I am okay with some drama but I think this season has been stronger for the almost lack of it.
But we did need to see what was up with Sousuke's confrontation with Haru. |

Yeah I find this season a lot more appealing because of the lack of drama as well.
Last episode (episode 5) wasn't to my liking because of it that. Was just unnecessarily melodramatic. I'm pretty sure Nagisa's parental issues were never properly planned considering this is the first time we are hearing about it. And of course after a couple friendship speeches the issue is done like it never happened. It doesn't help that we never even saw the parents in that episode making the issue heavily one-sided as if they didn't care about his opinion on the matter. This is kind of turning out like most of Love Live S2. Everything is less serious than the first season but when things get emotional they have no weight to them. |

Well, Free! finally expands on its characters (yay) with the most touching bromance moments WE HERE FER YOU NAGISA I really expected more antagonist stuff from Sousuke, but as it turns out, he's just a sad, sad killer whale. Rei is still trying so adorably hard to win, Haru is still jumping into every puddle of water (and hating on -chan who knew), Makoto is still being an optimist (don't , Gou is still a fangirl, and Nagisa is still..Nagisa. BUT WHOA THERE MOMOTAROU. That sea otter needs a girlfriend. I especially liked all the aww~ moments like when spoiler[Haru, Rei, and Makoto try to protect Nagisa.] spoiler[MAKO DON'T LEAVE HIGH SCHOOL STAY A THIRD YEAR FOREVER] |

It was an alright episode with the built-up. The match in the episode was really spoiler[fast but I think it was more of a warm up so I expect it to get more intense from now on. Sosuke needs to chill a bit though. I'm hoping to learn more about this guy soon since he's the new star in this show.] Lol @ the PV. I had to reply that several times

spoiler[Everyone qualified for regionals. Nagisa sure likes to eat protein powder a lot.. Regionals are not going to be easy. They're up against Rin's team before that too. Sousuke is going to participate. It's not easy being the captain of a team. Sometimes Rin has to make difficult choices. Interesting how Haru isn't interested into getting scouted. He's swimming purely 'cause he loves it. That relay was intense as hell!! This time Iwatobi was a bit off & not so lucky. So Haru got scouted after all.. so did Rin. They are going to have train hard to beat Samezuka. Everyone except Haru just barely qualified. Sousuke seems to be hiding something..] |

So Nitori spoiler[didn't get to swim in the relay. I felt sad for him, knowing how much it means to him.] The little bit with him and Momotarou was cute, though. Sousuke really is too uptight. But I am curious spoiler[where he's going that's so important he'd skip practice for it.] Also... spoiler[Kiss me. Perfect body.]
