Hamilton for fun but I wouldn't call them my favorites. Favorite TV shows/Movies: Iron Chef, Hannibal, Sherlock, Doctor Who/Torchwood, and most of your typical sci-fi distopian fantasy movies Favorite Drink: tea, hot or iced Favorite Foods: I love to cook Thai and Japanese I've just gotten back into anime after a long hiatus. I studied Japanese in college and lived near Tokyo for a year, but lost touch with anime since then, but I'm loving all the great new shows I've found! Unfortunately though I don't know many people irl who also enjoy it so I'm interested in making some new friends to geek over it with! |

Welcome! I hope that you'll enjoy it and stick around. And don't despair! Many members here are at least in their twenties and at least one is eligible to collect social security. You'll find plenty passionate, exuberant fans amongst them. |

Hi there! My current(soon to be former) name is Akemi Mokoto. Some of you might remember me, as me and The Answerman had a very brief conflict years ago. Well, things have changed. I am a freelance Journalist, extreme Anime otaku, and traveler. I one two homes....ok, kind of. I own a home in my home town of Chesapeake, VA and a temporary home in Otaru & Sapporo in Hokkaido, Japan where I've spent the past few winters.- I have seen over 550 Anime as of this post, and I spend $3,000/year on Anime, manga, and all related products. My top 3 favorite Anime(in order) are Clannad/Clannad After Story, Kanon(2006), and Saikano! Angel Beats is my 4th favorite and Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 is 5th. Of the 550 Anime I've seen, only around 20 have received a 10/10 perfect score from me. I am picky with my Anime. Blah blah blah, KAMPAI!
