I'm familiar enough with Tony, the only problem is whether to merge everything under Tony or keep Taka Tony as an alias. Have there ever been any cases where he actually is credited as Taka Tony (whether they are in our database or not)? |

Checking the "Tony Taka" credits, I found that either the cited sources did not mention him (all the MS Pictures links), say "Tony" instead of "Tony Taka" (Shining Hearts TV; (NSFW:) Sora no Iro, Mizu no Iro), or have no source and the sources I found cite "Tony" ((NSFW:) Genmukan: The Sin of Desire & Shame (click the cover image to see the back cover, and see the end of the first line of white text on it), which is also proof for Shinshō Genmukan). Unless someone has proof to the contrary, I would merge all three entries without an alias, but include an "About" to explain the confusion. [done] |

Link We don't currently have any credits in the entry for paint or finish animation to disambiguate, but I also see a couple credits for 撮影 (Photography). You're probably right that there are at least 2 Miyuki Matsumotos, but if you want to split a person into two entries, you need to have the information in the encyclopedia to begin with. Also, a possible twitter. She follows a lot of cartoonists and illustrators but only tweets inane things. |

Jiro KANAI: person#9230 (Actual person) It took a bit of investigation to nail this one down. Umetsu, the director of Wizard Barristers, mentioned a number of times on his personal blog that the storyboarder for episodes 2 and 8 was a very experienced animator as well. As it turns out, the credits on the actual storyboard cover for episode 2 does not use the alias, but credits Jiro Kanai directly. I know I've tried and been unsuccessful in finding any official source for his name in the past, but in checking now I see two that point in the same direction ("Kosuge"), from this official staff list and also an illustration in Newtype 2014-05 where his name is romanized in the credits. |
