This will be the original version only. If and when we release Ronin Warriors, it will be a separate collection. There are some issues that need to be cleared on the dub.

This one's a surprise to me. I watched Bokurano a while back via fansubs because other licensors weren't picking up the series and it's one of my all-time favorite mecha titles thanks to its rather dark and tragic story. Then again, Discotek's surprised me at times with what they'd be willing to pick up. Not likely to rewatch this, but glad folks will now have a legal means to see the series.

Seeing as I've been collecting a good number of Lupin III movies, I guess I'll snag up Napoleon's Dictionary when it comes out.

Whenever Discotek makes Itakiss available for pre-order via Rightstuf, I plan on snagging it up.

Anyone ever come by sales discussion with a Discotek representative? I'm curious about how well their Blue Submarine No. 6 BD/DVD sets sold. They did a fantastic job with it and the price was incredibly reasonable.

And Itakiss gets released in time for Rightstuf's Discotek sale, what a coincidence.

Is their sub only releases better or worse than their dubbed license rescues? Episodes per disk, subtitle quality and extras, those sort of things?

All right! Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade on BD for me. I still wont get rid of my special edition DVD, but I've been waiting for a BD release for a long time.

Having TRSI list Comic Party is a bit ironic as it was one of their titles originally. They put it out dubbed in singles (with art box) and later in a thin pack version.

I'm not sure how well it sold for them. They apparently created the thin pack version by repackaging the disks from the unsold singles. I found this out because I bought a case of used DVD cases and they still had the cover inserts and inserted printed material in them.

That is a rather odd choice for a license rescue. You can still find those old TRSI sets online pretty cheap second hand. I hope it does well for them though. They are pretty much the saviors of the cel-drawn anime that I crave.
