Oooo, Yukino can spoiler[kick ass in hand to hand] - nice.
To me there is something a bit conceptually wonky with respect to the Zodiacs desire to "be free" in that ... aren't they already free? They seem to be able to ignore Lucy's summons if they want or show up and ignore her commands if they want or slap her around if they want. How much more free can you get? Anyway, looking forward to spoiler[Lipstick Shark] next week. |

spoiler[The Eclipse Project sure is messing things up even now. It even affected the Celestial Spirit World. That explains the weirdness in the spirits behavior. Still, it's sad to see the relationships between celestial wizards & spirits so disrupted. Pisces sure gave them a lot of trouble...] |

Anyone else notice that they thankfully changed the art style for Lucy back to her original wonderful self? they tried to force a new look on her and it was simply awful. I am not sure what happened at the studio and staff, but someone got changed or corrected in their ways and I am for one very grateful for she is an essential character in the story and she needs to be done just right, a good degree of cute and a dash of Ecchi but not too much and please do NOT mess with her again.

I wonder how long each of the spoiler[upcoming fights will last. I assume Natsu and Lucy's will last the longest. Elfman's fight was short though and that was quite a way to take the win.]
Anyways, I want to see spoiler[Cana's fight the most right now since I'm a fan of cards and I can't help but think IT'S TIME TO DUEL! when I see that arena.] |

It was immediately what I thought when I saw the area, which is actually kind of funny. Interesting that there might be different kinds of fights this time. And Aquarius gets her own episode.

Nobody was happy about that. Interesting that they spoiler[knew about only 12 days of living.] Incredible that they didn't care. Those fights were bound to happen.. It sure is gonna be fun watching them. |

The amount of Saint Seiya vibes, first with Loke's clothing and now with spoiler[the 12 houses... Plus Yugioh]. I don't know if the arc is supposed to be taken seriously or if it's merely a big parody, but I'm kind of disappointed so far. I think the main plot could've been very interesting (definitely moreso than the Starry Keys thingy) but they're just making it a huge and massively stupid joke.

I am sure Aquarius will kill Wendy if she ever repeats what happened. Watching the preview, I am sure Happy knows a lot about card games, in another universe he/she knows how they go. |

Interesting episode.
Lots of different fights with celestial spirits. Our dragon slayers need to change their tactics a bit. None of them were having any luck. New versions of celestial spirits sure are weird ^^" Still, it was fun to watch it. |

I'm willing to bet that spoiler[Gildarts has some god-like ability when Cana played him in this battle. Anyways, this was amusing to watch considering it mirrors Yugioh style play.]

spoiler[Well, I'm not that into this arc. It feels like a giant game. In this particular episode it's game show meets yu-gi-oh! Definitely not something I expected to see. It was mildly amusing, but I like classic fights better.] |

Episode 210 (2014 Episode 35)
Now that was fun, just like certain battles in Yugioh where the rules are made up on the go. The whole episode was a play on New Rules as the Plot Demands. Also known as Screw the rules..... as an avid follower of the abridged series I really enjoyed it. Special mention for spoiler[Happy and Natsu fusion]. Next in my watch list of today, Selector Spread Wixoss. Oh dear. |
