So, I was looking in the news archive to find out if an end had been announced for the Blood Lad manga (I'm reading Yen's volume 5, and it seems to be building into "final battle" territory), when I found this article saying that Blood Lad was added onto Netflix, on September 14th. A search of the site doesn't find it there, though.

So, was it up briefly, or is the article completely wrong? There's no source for the article.

@Dessa
I can't tell you about Netflix, but it is available on hulu. Of course you have to put up with the ads and such.

We watch anime via my PS3. You have to pay for Hulu. I won't pay for anything that has ads for paid members. So we're stuck with CR and Netflix.

It is on UK Netflix. The local distributor of it is trying very hard to get their shows onto as many platforms as possible.

It's also worth noting season 2 is the censored simulcast version while the first season is uncensored.

The Irregular at Magic High School has been added (sub only).

Additionally, Freezing Vibration now has its own separate icon for some reason (still sub only, though).

Two seasons of Ikki Tousen have been added, and Samurai Champloo has returned as well, though it doesn't show up in the "Anime" category for some reason; you have to specifically search it to find it.

I'm really frustrated that we don't have a physical release set for Knights of Sidonia here despite Netflix original series like Orange is the New Black getting them. Surely Netflix knows anime fans like physical releases too. I watched the whole series on a trial sub and loved it to death but I would like to own it forever without paying a monthly fee and it's really annoying that they don't have reps to handle commenting on whether or not that will happen due to them being a big corporation and only really caring for promoting stuff. I really want to see season 2 but if they keep relegating it to streaming only I'm not going to be happy. Mad

I don't believe Knights of Sidonia has even been released on DVD/BRD in the U.S., yet.
