Judging from the trailer, it looks good. 
I wonder if this game will get a western release outside of Japan??

It would be absurd for them not to release this internationally. Godzilla does have a fairly strong fan-base here. Plus, a good majority of his games have been released here, with only a few rare exceptions.

Well this Godzilla game (developed by a western studio) has never seen a Japanese release. So I hope this PS3 Godzilla game will see a western release.

Yeah, I doubt Japan would have enjoyed Unleashed, given the bad rep it got.

Or they may have enjoyed it since there are a lot of mediocre game coming out of Japan too, it's unknown why they didn't release the game in Japan.

It didn't get released likely due to low sales and poor motion controls. Why risk further bad numbers overseas?
