I have heard occasional rumors that Go! Princess Precure could be something quite different compared to previous Pretty Cure seasons. Let's see just how different will the new series be.

That's what the producer said, but with Toei you'd better not trust anything they say (see the part about the "last" All Stars movies...)

I do agree, but given that the formula pioneered by Fresh Pretty Cure! in 2008-2009 needs to be retired, maybe we'll finally see something new a completely different for a change.... |

I think it was their last "All Stars New Stage", not their last All Start altogether.
Just like there were 3 All Stars Deluxe. |

Yeah, they specifically said "it's the last New Stage movie". Just like 4 years ago they said "it's the last DX movie". Nobody ever said it was the last All Stars movie. Silly technicality, but they've done it twice now.
"It'll be different than previous Precures" is something they seem to say every year, too. We'll see how different. Obviously it'll be a little different or it wouldn't be a new series.

Yeah, I don't mind if they reuse a few tropes or themes. While I enjoyed Smile I kept saying, "They already did this!" Outright copying whole episodes from other seasons, just not as well.
I still hope for the day we get a small team and stick to it again. |
