I think any hope of it not becoming a "thing" is pretty much forlorn. Popular stuff always attracts counterfeiters.

Damn, and I thought that China was the biggest of the bootleggers. Well, as my teacher once said, "Japan is the greatest copiers". Look at all those damn fake watches. I wonder how good they look based on the Chinese knockoffs.
