This is a very strong slate. I think doing regular editions and a collector's edition for Knights of Sidonia is the right way to go. I am a bit disappointed that Captain Earth is sub-only, but I can understand Sentai determining that the apparent lack of enthusiasm for this title does not justify the extra expense of a dub. I only watched the first episode of Magical Warfare, but for some reason I suspected all along that it was getting a dub.

Knights of Sidonia is a quality show, but I am not sure if I want to own it. I should get Captain Earth down the line though.

Aw, Im a little disappointed that Captain Earth isnt getting dubbed. I saw the first few episodes when it was simulcasting and really liked it but decided it be better to watch all at once when it was done. Was kinda hoping it get dubbed too.

Oh well, I might still get it. Does anyone know if the home release version is different enough from the Broadcast (Crunchyroll) version?

Been always meaning to see KoS too, but never got around to it. I here the home version is very different from the Broadcast version, I might just wait on the Bluray. Might get the Collectors edition, the Chuunibyo CE was an awesome release, so Im hoping it compares to that

Knights of Sidonia Collector's Edition for me. While I ended up not liking Mardock Scramble that much I think its a good move/incentive putting all 3 movies together. Space Bros maybe...

Probably will pick up the Mardock triology and put my three individual blu rays up for sale on eBay. Other than that, nothing piques my interest this time around.

I am definitely buying the Knights of Sidonia Collector's Edition. I really liked that show so it's worth it. I'll probably end up getting Haikyu!! as well.

Tempted to go after Knights of Sidonia. May snag up Haikyu at a later time when the second half comes out. Beyond that, not much else getting my attention.

Mardock Scramble trilogy is only 199 mins? The 3 director's cuts list run times that add up to 255 mins. Is there an error in there somewhere, because the director's cuts didn't add that much more footage...

The First Compression blu ray contains BOTH the original version of the movie (59 minutes) AND the director's cut (66 minutes), which is why the runtime on the back is listed as 125 minutes. Second Combustion and Third Exhaust only have the one version on their releases.

Both have the TV and Director's cut versions though, which was what was throwing me off. Maybe Sentai just realized it was stupid to double the run-time for a few mins of difference for those two.

I'll probably only get Knights of Sidonia. Gotta support what I can of it, whether it be the manga or anime.

Here is a shot of the Knights of Sidonia CE.

There is also a video explaining the contents.

Thanks for posting this.

I pre-ordered when this was first announced and will still keep my order, but I'm a little disappointed with what's included. I would have preferred to have seen a digi-pack like they did with HOTD CE. 15 double sided postcards? A fair amount of artwork, but its a shame that its on postcards. I would like to have seen the artwork in a book instead. A sticker? What are we 6 years old? Oh, and yes I would have payed more for the upgrade in packaging. I do like that they have a container to hold the extras and they don't just stuff it all sloppy into the artbox like my GoS LE from AoA.

I'm looking forward to the enhanced scenes on the video. Ah, I wish the artwork was in a book with a few comments by Nihei. I really like his stuff. I'm not crazy about mini-posters, but I always liked that image. Its pretty boss.
