Celestial spirit arc continues.
This arc seems have gotten less love than other FT arcs. Not very popular among the viewers. I wish it would just end soon so things would got back to normal. At least Natsu showed off his power again. |

no worries then as the arc will wrap up in 3 episodes. After that it will be side stories from the manga and a light novel, so technically back to canon. |

I hope the spoiler[filler arc ends soon as I heard about the recent announcement that the next arc will be animated. As for the latest episode, I actually thought it was one of the better episodes. I mean, we get a new OP song which imo is better than the previous although not as catchy as the first song.]

Another cliffhanger.
I wonder if this arc is reaching its climax soon. The spoiler[latest episode was one of the better ones imo considering it went into full action throttle mode and not only that but almost all the main characters got into the fight. ] |

Not sure, but I feel like the OP may hold some small clues. It has become pretty clear to me that spoiler[the small monster thing that is cute and gets big, looks quite likely to be the Celestial Spirit King]. This is based on comments like that spoiler[the sound it was making was beast like, and as the preview pointed out how it might be opposite of normal]. Happy even throws out the idea that spoiler[he might be tiny since he is usually large, and the preview is hinting that they will be surprised with what he looks like]. If so I think that they are planning to have it a little longer while they spoiler[bring the other characters seen in the OP to help fight against the Spirit king]. As it was I was pretty surprised that they actually changed the OP and ED since they started playing at episode 204 and stopped at 214, meaning only 11 episodes, I think making them the shortest count so far. |

Natsu vs Liberum Verus!
I like how Happy now becomes Natsu's wings. It really looks like he has wings of his own, pretty cool. Gray & Juvia sure make a nice team. So far things aren't going that well for our guys. |

As a stand alone, this episode was fantastic, and proof that this arc had the potential to be excellent if they had gone for a serious tone through the entire arc instead of filling it with stupid comedy battles that were hardly ever funny. I liked all the nods to the established couples (spoiler[Gajeel/Levi], oh my heart) and the spoiler[Spirit King's power to turn people into constellations was pretty cool.]. Also likedspoiler[ seeing everyone wearing the celestial clothes, it's not often we get to see everyone changing their outfits,] so it was a nice touch.
On the downside of the episode: Haha,spoiler[ all three female celestial mages had their clothes explode one way or another and had to hold their giant boobs to keep them in place]. Stay classy, Fairy Tail. Also,spoiler[ Lucy getting shafted to give Natsu the spotlight, even though this was the best [expletive] opportunity to make her shine and emphasize how important her relationship with her spirits is.] I think the anime writersspoiler[ hate Lucy, because filler arcs and the Phoenix movie have all given her the short stick aka not getting to do anything worth noting.]. I hope we get done with this arc already. The latest episode has showed me they had the potential of making this a good story (and maybe make it one more cour to flesh it out properly and give the manga some more room to breathe), which makes me even more angry about how badly they screwed it all up |

spoiler[Super monster transformation. Damn, this felt so out of place for this anime. The setting just felt wrong. Don't like this arc. Reminds me too much of Naruto fillers. Hope Fairy Tail won't take the same direction.. Now that Natsu defeated the enemy things went back to normal. Even the spirits were themselves again minus the memories of being bad.] |

Hmm, it looks like that spoiler[filler arc is over now. The fight...was eh, I'm not really sure about this finale actually. But with the spirits free again and back to their normal selves, that conflict seems to be over. Even Aquarius is on board with the others.]

That kind of magic could really come in handy. Erza really got into thatspoiler[ "hero" suit] LOL She was really all over the place.. spoiler[Lucy, Natsu & Happy were getting serious about their training. Wakaba & Macao took a wrong turn with that transformation technique. When Erza, Gajeel & Lily showed up things turned into Tiger & Bunny episode.] It's been a while since they made me laugh. This sure was a fun episode ^^ |

It looks like the latest episode will continue into next time..
What a spoiler[weird creature as well. I guess we'll learn more about him later. Best part of the episode imo is Erza in that pretty dress  ]
