Episode 20:
Pretty one sided match. My guess is that the match would of ended in a clean sweep in Yuma's favor if he didn't let his opponent get a "head-start". Based on the implied ending, I guess we will expect some history lesson or info dump soon.
However, this episode shows that Yuma is a neat friend to have, as he clearly wasn't fighting for himself but rather for Osamu.

Duckface aside, I really enjoy Yuma's stoic expressions during battles and negotiations. It's interesting that this same lack of expression is annoying in Aldnoah's Inaho. The only difference is that I can see Yuma thinking and analyzing behind his mask, while Inaho just seems to be a completely opaque box that spews out data solutions on demand. Given the pathetic animation of WT though, I can't figure out just how they're accomplishing conveying that insight, where Aldnoah, with its far superior animation, fails so completely at it.

Yuma vs Midorikawa!
Time to get revenge for Osamu.
That Midorikawa was very confident.
Yuma kept losing just like Osamu... at first.
It was all a strategy to learn his attacks.
This was fun to watch!
Seems like Yuma made another friend..
Interesting episode end!

Cute, Osamu really wants to protect Chika <3
And anyways, it was nice to hear a bit about the Neighbors' worlds. I actually find the world fiction of this series to be interesting with the info dump this week.
I hope they capture the most important elements of the invasion in the next few episodes rather than dragging it out.

Replica explaining things.
Was about time they got to it.
Those neighbor worlds look very interesting.
I'd like to see more.
So each nation has its black triggers but they are a rarity everywhere..
Osamu became popular at school again.
Good base episode for the invasion start.

Welp, it's becoming a war zone now. Hope they give Osamu a chance to shine soon because so far, he is struggling a bit although he is holding his own against some of the Trion Soldiers.

Let the invasion begin!
Osamu got really serious fast.
The flow of trion soldiers sure was strong.
This is gonna be a huge challenge.
Their numbers are pretty overwhelming..
New trion soldier type was interesting.

I'm really wondering where they're going with this, as there isn't enough of the invasion to last the entire projected season, and yet the arc after it isn't finished yet and would make a less satisfying conclusion anyways. Either they're going to stretch this arc like taffy, or tag on their own stupid "Blue Exorcist" ending. I was expecting that instead they would stick a filler arc right before this one, and only move on to the invasion for the last 15 eps or so. They have like 30 left.

Episode 23:
Hmm, it's interesting to see some Aftokrator members in the latest episode I guess. I think those are some of its core members and seems like one of them has some bloodlust to kill.
This felt like a buildup episode though despite the ongoing war. I expect the climatic battles to take place soon. Kinda curious to see Kitora's roles in this tbh.

That was a pretty good episode, although they did resort back to some of those epic static shots, especially the 5 second hold on Osamu with no dialog for no apparent reason. To make sure we had time to fully appreciate his resolve?

I am pretty sure a lot of it was indeed filling in time. Some of it did to start to get to the level of amazement of use in a road race.
But overall it was not really bad, I enjoyed it despite some problems.

Things are getting tricky.
Those Rabbits are dangerous.
Aftokrator guys look pretty scary and sinister.
Trion soldiers of all kinds and sizes keep flooding in.
Just how much more of this can our guys take?
Really good episode.

They had to end the latest episode with that cliffhanger huh? D:
Chika better brace herself if she wants to live. Surprisingly, I liked Kitora much better this episode than some of the previous. I guess it's because of her skills and what she's fighting for although even that doesn't seem to be enough against the Trion this time.

Rabit's insides exposed!
More questions arose.
The neighbors that are attacking have quite an interesting tactics.
Another new type appears.
Osamu facing a Marmod on his own.
Looks like the kid grew up quite a lot!
Kitora was impressive as well.
The new types keep flooding & "eating" agents..
Things aren't looking good.
