All of those on the list got me going, and again every time i rewatch them. Apart from Luffy vs Usopp, it was emotional but not tearjerking for me.
But there's so many more, Robin and her mum is a big one.

Damn, what a good list. All of the mentioned made me sobbing... but truly... The Merry Farewell is the best tearjerker out of the rest. I remember reading that when Oda wrote it, he was also crying along with his assistants...

The Going Merry really is the real gut-puncher IMO. Kind of like Nuriko in Fushigi Yuugi, it was the first one where you know a "companion" isn't coming back. And it's extra sad because Oda lets Merry "talk" and basically share it's regret over leaving so soon. I was (and still am really) impressed that Oda was able to make such an emotional scene for a vehicle.

True both Bleach and Naruto have too much F-f-f-f-filler! They both need Kai cuts. Apologies to those who like two tone garbage filler content. Horrible boring inane filler. It destroyed some truly great shows.
And then there are crimes like the animation catching up too HxH. Nooooooo!

Good list overall. Like others mentioned I would swap out some with my own like: Sanji leaving the cooking ship, the Laboon story, and the crew leaving Vivi and Alabasta. The ones I agree with of their seven are #2 and #4. (If Laboon coincides with #7 then that one too).

What's great about this list is there are so many scenes that could swapped for others in the show and I still wouldn't complain. One Piece really is unrivaled in shonen manga in terms of the emotions it can create.

Number one truly is number one. Her line of "Ikitai!!" Makes me cry every time, regardless of how many times I've seen it. And I'm not that huge of a fan of One Piece.

This list is actually a very good list, I cried for 1-3 and 7, but the list definitely could have had Chopper leaving Drum Island swapped in with something else. Only one other anime has made me cry but One Piece still takes the cake when it comes to moving scenes for me.

That whole scene is perfect, starting with the arrival of the Straw Hats on top of the wall and striking a cool pose. And Robin's face of disbelief immortalised in the OP. Ennis Lobby arc is best arc.
Anyway, some others: Pell flies away with Crocodile's bomb and saves Alabasta. Bon-chan's goodbye as he stays behind in Impel Down to impersonate Magellan allowing the other prisoners to escape. Rebecca and Kyros's backstory in the latest storyline.
However, there's a new winner, in my opinion (manga spoilers!): Gravely wounded Rosinante forces himself to stay alive out of sheer will just a few minutes more to keep the soundproof field protecting young Law from being found by Donflamingo.

It's amazing how 4Kids so destroyed OP's credibility so that it will never be popular domestically.

true enough though i would put merry's farewell or ace's passing as a bigger tear jerker than robin's wanted to live after the crew declared war on the whole world.

I think what really sold that for me was the conflict the Merry's condition created between Usopp and Luffy. It accurately reflected how differently people can react to finding out a loved one has a terminal illness with some trying to accept what will happen and others refusing to face reality. I was so frustrated with Usopp because his own grief and stubbornness blinded him to the fact that Luffy was grieving in a different way.

Yea, just adding to what everyone else has said. Too many emotional moments to list just 7. But to add a few that weren't on the list:
Chopper's backstory with Dr. Hiruluk is probably my #1. The moment when Hiruluk is happy and smiles when he finds out that it was just a trap to kill him and the nation wasn't actually in danger, completely ruins me.
I'd also add in the departure from Vivi and Alabasta,
The flashback to Noland and Calgara in Skypeia is sneaky in my top 5.
In the big war arc, the death of Whitebeard was beautiful.

That one is great, definitely a worthy moment for Bon-chan.
