I'm what most people might consider a hardcore UC Gundam fan (but not necessarily a purist), but I really enjoyed G Gundam. Maybe it wasn't one of my all-time favorite Gundam shows, but it's definitely one of the best AU shows, and a lot of what's good about it owes to Yasuhiro Imagawa, a vastly underrated director.

I With Penguin here and hell, I think I like even more U.C. shows than he does but G is something special. It's not what I think of as "real Gundam" but at the same time it's so fun to watch and has so many great characters.

The Undefeated of the East for life, man was so awesome and deep for what amounted to a super robot anime villain,

LOOK! THE EAST IS BURNING RED!
