Does anybody have any idea how many episodes the show will ultimately run? I could not believe it when after no less than five seasons the team was defeated and basically sent back to where it had started.

Ōishi Masayoshi also sang the OP for Gekkan Shōjo Nozaki-kun, so that's good news.

Ugh, I really didn't like the first two OPs by them, but even if I end up not liking the new ED, they're still going to change it after 13 episodes, right?

The first season covered the manga's first 27 volumes in 75 episodes, so I guess the second one could cover the next 19 volumes in 50 episodes or so. But even after that, they might keep the anime going in order to cover the manga's second phase, which will begin this spring.

As for Seidou losing that big game after so much build-up, I was fully expecting it due to the unwritten law of sports manga/anime that states that the main characters can never win a tournament in their first try. That's why I'm very pessimistic about Yowamushi Pedal's finale tomorrow (I don't read the manga, so no spoilers).

Thanks for the tips. This is clearly going to be a long anime.
