Miho Suzuki
There are a number of different people to split here, as I expected, but sorting them out was not as frustrating as I expected. A few notes to make here, and I will wait to see if anyone has anything to add before I do the split. No one in the entry actually has the given name kanji 美穗. I think the second kanji there is likely an accidental mistake. There may actually be more than two colorists, but it would be hard to confirm. All credits are one of only two kanji names, at least. There is inconsistency in the precisions over whether the company one of them works for is romanized "MI" or "Emuai", but that is also the case with the company entries too (not sure if confirmation is available there). I put a "?" before the date next to some credits where I have not seen the kanji yet and can only reasonably assume going by the studio they are listed working for. The 2nd Key Animation credit in Strike Witches 2 is actually 鈴木美帆 in FUNimation's subbed stream (same as the in-between animator for OLM), unlike what the current fan-transcribed source says. The 3DCG credit in Kingdom may be a different person from the special effects person, but the kanji is the same and I'm hesitant to split into yet another entry without confirmation. The animator 鈴木海帆 (who has her name reading confirmed as Miho) had a few credits under Kaho Suzuki. I purged them rather than waiting to merge because it doesn't look like "Kaho" is even a common reading of the name. The common family name means it's to some degree more likely someone else who actually has that name will appear later. Thanks for helping to confirm the Tekkonkinkreet. If I hadn't seen the T2 Studio credit, I would have had no clue where to place it. But this confirms that I thought right. Something else I've found is that the special effects credits are probably not a different person. I see T2 Studio around in other jobs in some of those titles, but this appears to directly confirm that link (unless there happens to be two Miho Suzuki's working for the company). |
