I doubt that Boruto will surpass his father as the parent series was called and about "Naruto" and this is added to the fact that Naruto was the true Child of Prophecy.

One would think that someone would find a male seiyuu to play as Naruto since he's an adult now but, alas, this isn't to be the case. Oh well...

I see ANN is doing away from covering the sysnopsis' letters in the same color as the background, which I approve. By now, who doesn't know that this film is the sequel to the manga? Only the careless will venture here at this point

Well at least it wasn't set up so that you have to highlight to read this time, but that is a waste of space disclaimer. There are 4 minor things potentially spoiled in that paragraph after the disclaimer, but all of those are spoiled by the picture right before the disclaimer:
1. Naruto becoming Hokage - clearly an older Naruto wearing the Hokage hat
2. Naruto and Sasuke both live - picture shows clearly older versions of them
3. Naruto has a son - an older Naruto along with a kid who looks a lot like Naruto; obviously his son
Anyway, back to the movie. I'm wondering if this is going to take the Dragonball approach where the kids start out ridiculously powerful. They should be basically the same age as Naruto was at the very beginning so it doesn't make sense for them to be that strong. On the other hand, with all the crazy moves everyone seems to have towards the end, it might be kinda boring if the kids are only at fresh gennin level.

Highly doubt that is him. have a feeling he's related to the otsutsuki clan considering that he looks like toneri and kaguya. though his eyes definitely looks like he might have a connection to white zetsu as well.
