I happy that L'Arc~en~Ciel is getting very active with their next album coming out soon. I can't wait to see how the animation will go with the new song.

Let's hope the theme song is more like "Driver's High" and not so much like "READY STEADY GO". I mean, in the sense that the former is good and the latter is dry and awful.

Kenji Kawai did the music for Patlabor , and I especially enjoyed the soundtrack to the first two movies, so I'm not concerned on that front.

.

I heard a concert recording of it, and it's like neither. Although hyde sings pretty much with his later more "deep growly" voice over the ark+ray days, both RSG and Driver's High are more upbeat songs than Daybreak's Bell.

I don't know how to describe it, it's more laid-back, sad sounding, and more ballad-ish.
