Episode 10:
Pretty chill episode especially for the first half. I find it funny at how Erina sees Soma at the school still with her cold stares. Then, there's the guys' "bonding" this episode in the waters. The fan service is pretty self explanatory with the posing
I liked the transition of the second half though to a much more competitive atmosphere. As usual, the way the characters think is really well presented by their clever tactics.

When Nakiri & Yukihira get closer thing get LOL
Seems like there is some chemistry going on between them.
More info about Erina emerged.
It was a long & hard day for everyone, but Yuu was still full of energy.
New cook with a new task arrived.
That guy had no tolerance for mistakes.
Damn, Yuu is getting more fired up.
Can't wait to see that food war!

My first response of there being poor ingredients was to make it the examiner's problem that it was entirely unfair to people. In general I hate that guy more than miss god tongue, such an a-hole that thinks he is better because finds any and all faults in others.

Damn that four eyed bastard for making Megumi cry! Can't wait for Soma to kick his ass.
Though it would be better if Megumi took him on herself. She can't always have Soma coming to her rescue.

Episode 11:
I thought this was a rather funny episode with the balance of the tense moments (food war preparation) and the Inui abuse; poor her
Glad to see Megumi regain a bit of confidence though thanks to Soma though. The foodgasm as usual looked fabulous~. I also loved how some of the instructors were anticipating this food wars battle.

Kojiro is a piece of work.
The unofficial shokugeki was approved.
Megumi feeling guilty over the whole ordeal..
Some painful truths came out.
All that shook her up even more.
Nice meals this time too.

Episode 12:
Good episode.
I think despite the fact that Megumi might of struggled a bit, she managed to create some nostologia for Shinomiya after seeing that dish. And not only that but it definitely looked like it has a great taste to it. Not perfect maybe but still great.
Loved the amount of imagery used for this episode like usual. DELICIOUS!

Megumi's dish was really nice.
Shame it wasn't enough to win.
Shinomiya's background came to light.
Doujima lowered Shinomiya's floating head back to the ground.
Megumi was saved in the end.
Nice episode.

Episode 13:
Good episode overall. Erina returns and another girl makes her debut. As for the episode itself, it showed her annoyance at Soma again, not that was anything surprising.
We get some dishes that Soma tries to make with egg as a key ingredient. Interesting. I think it fits his style considering he takes simple products and turn them into masterpieces. Delicious episode.
Oh and that dream is freaking priceless in the beginning. What's with the muscles??!

Another challenge!
This time a hotel breakfast.
Yukihira isn't satisfied with his current level.
Guess it's time to spice things up and evolve!
Watching people try out the dishes was cool.
Looks like breakfast was a success ^^

Episode 13
Okay, I actually like this hotel breakfast idea, having them serve an actual buffet breakfast looks like a good idea, or perhaps I am falling into the swing of things. But who wants to be surprised first thing in the morning at breakfast?
That eggs benedict looked like such a tease. I recently decided to go an a diet and I had to watch this.

Frankly, I would bet most of the people who tried it wouldn't even notice the dried mullet roe...

Episode 14:
Lol, I thought the cow foodgasm was pretty funny and delicious. That was just priceless to watch. No doubt, Alice is one of the strong competitors there.
Didn't surprise me much that Soma had a plan of his own though. His cooking skill is like magic and the movements displayed in this episode was fascinating with his style. Looked delicious too.
Lol, little Erina is funny during her childhood. Good episode overall.

Souma ran into his first serious obstacle.
The souffle thing was obviously not working, so he improvised!
Looks like he's good at that ^^
He barely made it..
Erina was most impressive this time.
She outdid everyone with the double quota.
One challenge done & another is about to begin soon!

Ugh, that milk in the eggshell sounded disgusting to me. There's no way to get all the remnants of the egg out of that little hole, so you'd have albumen slime gunking up the texture as you drank, if not clogging that skinny straw. It could perhaps be done right if the shells were carefully prepared well in advance, but not in this kind of time situation.
Nice recovery Soma, but it seems to violate the concept of a buffet.
Once again I'm kind of baffled by the numbers (which I kind of handwaved for the athletic feed-a-thon). Even if only the 628 who passed made only the requisite 200 dishes, that's 125,600 servings. Couldn't have been more than 5000 people showing up for the breakfast, and that's a wild over-estimation of the scattered crowds we saw. For that matter, I was shocked that there were 980 students there to begin with. I thought maybe a couple hundred at most.
