Probably meant 1/144, and a cheap RX-78-2 isn't the way to go anyway when you've seen that amazing RG one.

Indeed, then you see the MG ver3.0 which is essentially a 1/100 version of the RG.

the article mean the 1/144 scale HG, the previously kit HG RX-78-2 30th Anniversary Ver was released on 2009
