Really liking the Demon's Souls and Bloodborne vibes with the art and enemy designs, architecture and combat. Fluted armor, Tower of Latria-esque prison, moody lightning with massive crowds, fights that keep you on your toes... so [expletive] hyped for this.

Some theorize that Demons Souls is either a direct prequel or sequel set far in the future or past, so maybe some of these nods set it up that Demons Souls is a sequel.

It's more likely that they're just nice references that From's staff like to use. After all, Patches is also in both Bloodborne and Armored Core, and those certainly aren't in Dark Souls's universe.
