Incidentally, I just went to the Houston art museum yesterday as a field trip for my drawing class.

The RED HOT exhibit (the modern asian art exhibit) was awesome. There was a huge picture called "Ah, Akihabara" that was really cool. I also really liked Chiho Aoshima's works which included two nice drawings (both of which where about 10 feet wide) and 7 minute animation that looped around and used 5 widescreen monitors. Oh, and there was a Gundam picture, one of those pictures that changes depending on the angle you look at it.

If anyone is in Houston while this exhibit is going on, I highly recommend checking it out. If money is a concern, Thursdays appear to be free admission days.
