SAME!! (but I still have yet to see the full Tokyo ghoul stage play and the Death note musical- both korea and japan. Sad )

Oh, niiice! it's very fitting. I hope the costumes will be as beautiful as they are in the manga. <33
And I also hope that this means other types of adaptation in the future; a musical would be p interesting. Idk about a anime, like, I don't think they would manage to adapt Tsukiji Nao's beautiful art into animation faithfully, unless there's a HUGE budget to back it up.

I doubt an anime would do it justice (at least, not without a giant budget) but I bet a stage play would be beautiful. I hope to see pictures Smile

This is one of my favorite manga, and I still cling to the hope of it getting licensed again to America....I want to read it legally, or even better, have the gorgeous art in print! Sad

It wouldn't be so much of the budget that's important, it's quality and good time management. Best example is the animation for Prison School, the director knows how to do time management well without sacrificing any of the quality.
