| Hmmm... an anime series about a manufactured Russian pop duo that poses as lesbians only to garner more fans. When clearly they'd get more viewers if they did a yaoi anime series called Gackt Mizer Paragon.
Considering there's not much to write about a group of fake lesbians, here's my guess on what the story will really be about: The two girls will be normal high school students who get their Big Break and manage to make it as pop stars. They have to go through the rigors of showbiz A La Chance Pop--- but wait, they're also secret agents at night. The pop star thing is only a clever ruse to keep their identity safe, and provide 5-minute time killers of concert footage. Hopefully, with a good staff, they'll make the voices regular old Japanese, without adding in the fake and ridiculously bad Russian-isms like the last episode of Crying Freeman. And whoever dubs it in the US will be good people and do it in plain American-English, without trying to tack on fake Slavic accents. Though I love the website's misspell of "Coming Soon." If Russia was still a Communist country, I'd laugh at the misspell, but alas, it's just bad English. Any other takers on potential story lines? |

| How about lots of fanservice and teasing lesbian (fake or otherwise) innuendo? I'm so there.
P.S. Fake lesbians are the best kind, at least for showbiz purposes. |

Give it time, they're still working on the video game. Emerje |

| Lord help us! This is exactly the kind of thing we don't need in anime. t.A.T.u. sucks! (By the way Russian is my native language). | |||

Unlike Real Lesbians, we actually have a chance with the fake ones |

Exactly. Well, except when they're on TV, or animated, but still. |

| Ummm...helLOOO??? It's totally gonna be an updated version of Jem and the Holograms, except with fewer band members! However, in this new version, t.A.T.u. will have battles to the death with all the other crappy manufactured bands in the world, thus giving us the opportunity to fantasize that in SOME timeline, these bands no longer exist.
Jem and the Holograms...who'da thought they'd bring it back? |

I am suddenly so there. Tho' I'd be more excited if it was Shinichi Watanabe who was involved on some level, since this project is utterly ludicrous but in a way that could be hilarious in the right hands. |

| I have just lost a lot of respect for Shinichiro Watanabe. Hopefully he's just doing it for the money. I think it will look funny having an opeing with lots of people getting shot and stuff and than the show being nothing like that. | |||

Right, because doing it for the money is the respectful thing to do, rather than doing it because you actually believe in the project. Emerje |

Could be: hell, "serious" directors like Gilliam and Lynch have done commercials and whatnot to make ends meet in the past, why should anime directors be immune? Could also be some kind of contractual obligation: "We'll fund your hip-hop-samurai doohickey if you provide an opening sequence for our tA.T.u. movie." |
