I have not seen Fencer of Minerva yet, it is in my backlog, but I think that it is not classified as hentai here or in Japan. Though it does seem to be rather erotic. I really should watch it. Central Park Media released it on their U.S. Manga Corps label for general releases, not the Anime 18 label that they used for hentai. |

@nobahn: Well, it's more R/NC-17 rather than full-blown porn. ________________________________________ What's with those internal shots in hentai nowadays? I mean... am I supposed to be turned on by those scenes? 
BTW, just watched Lovely x Cation. It was nice, one of the better vanilla I've watched in a while. That episode with the gamer girl is quite funny.

I enjoyed this as well. Fairly decent, as throwaway hentai premises are concerned. Yuni was entirely too voluptuous to be believable, both leading males were nameless and nearly faceless for no good reason, and like every other modern hentai, the sex scenes suffered from your typical innard cams, but when those are your only complaints, you've a good hentai on your hands. The animation was decent and the art was solid, exhibitting no over-the-top boob physics or ridiculously ecstatic, eyes-rolled-all-the-way-back, tongue-hanging-out-of-your-mouth facial expressions. It's also the only hentai I know of in recent memory to employ subtleties to its lighting: the embers reflecting in Yuni's eyes in that dimly-lot room were a rather nice touch. This is right up my alley in hentai, and I'd like to know of more |

Hi,
Does anyone know if there are any feature length hentai movies made these days or are they all series? I searched the database and it didn't give me much to start with in genre hentai that was fairly recent. Is there anyone who follows the genre and knows what is the latest? Note that I am not interested in any hentai production made BEFORE 2014. Preferably something that isn't freely available online. Any help is appreciated! Thank you! |

Hello, self proclaimed hentai guru here. ANN lacks the more recent Hentai releases because I think many of the encyclopedia editors simply don't watch it or the submitted ones lack information such as voice actors, animators, studios etc. But to answer your main question, MAL does list releases of Hentai from 2014 to now in NSFW! this post (contains sexual images). NSFW! Most of the hentai releases nowadays are series of OVAs released over the course of months. |

Me and my husband saw a clip of this hentai where there were a bunch of school girls in red white and black uniforms having sex with men and collecting their cum in gold goblet's. We were both intrigued and want to watch it so we can find out why they were collecting it. I found the clip on tnaflix but as far as I know it came from juicyhentai.net although I cant find it there either. If anyone can tell me what its called it would be greatly appreciated.

I think that you are probably right, but even if not that definitely is something that could happen in Bible Black. I recommend that the person who was intrigued by that scene should take a look at Bible Black. You might also check Discipline: the Hentai Academy. I think that it was done by the same people. |

This is a strange question, but is there a database that lists hentai industry anime as they come out, and that has a log back to... well, as far as possible? At least the general 80's and 90's. Maybe has a summary or an image or two (DVD/BD cover, screenshot(s))? I'm trying to make general sweeping documentation for an informative essay on various aspects of erotic anime over time and... well, being able to just search and click on a bunch of stuff at once based on release date would be handy. A filter to exclude re-releases would be nice. I mean, it's gotta be out there, but my googling skills are lacking today.
Japanese-language or English-language databases work best. A good alternative for more recent-ish stuff would be a site that sells stuff and doesn't unlist sold-out stuff, and has a sufficiently advanced search-by-date function. DMM isn't even giving me that, though I can't say I'm familiar enough with anything else. |

I might be asking for the impossible, here, but I have to try, as I've grown a bit tired of the content out there.
Are there any vanilla (it doesn't necessarily have to be full vanilla) hentai series that are, erh, well, "realistic"? A very grounded, simple story or setting that seems believable is what I'm looking for. Often times (mostly in recent shows) the circumstances and/or "justification" in which female characters choose to do it with the main character are outright ridiculous. So much so it's impossible to buy into it. I'm not talking science fiction or fantasy and whatnot. I'm talking settings set in a perhaps suburban or rural environment where there's no gimmicks like super powers or demons and whatnot. I just want something whose "universe", if you may, is somewhat consistent. The characters' actions also have to make sense. Granted, there's obviously a little bit of artistic license here and there, and there's obviously no show that's 100% realistic and by the books, but any series that comes close is definitely what I'm looking for. Maybe an actual believable and relatable love story/relationship between two or more characters for once? It'd be great if it had good animation, such as Euphoria, Kuroinu, Sora No Iro Mizu No Iro, to name a few. The latter actually fits into the "somewhat realistic and vanilla category I'm looking for. There's a Hentai Recommendation thread that might give you some titles (expect this thread to get merged with that one).
The one title that immediately pops into my head is Virgin Night, a simple story about a couple's awkward first time. I'll give you a longer list later when I have time to look through my stuff. |
