Awesome, yes, finally. I thought that after the 3 episode OVA they wouldn't have anymore genshiken, but here it is! I'm really looking forward to it since they might even show their graduation and things like Sasahara and Ogiue's budding relationship Definitely one of my favorite slice of life series, it also makes me wish that I had some friends who shared my love of anime and manga. *sigh* This series just makes me feel very wistful and...nostalgic for some reason(even though I'm still in college).
Also...did anyone else have a big goofy smile plastered over their face or is it just me? |

Dude! I have all the manga so far and all the DVDS I have the biggest smile in class right now! I'm so happy! Check the avatar! Whooooooooooooooooooo!
Yeah my college club is Genshiken-ish. It makes me happy. If the next college I tranfer to doesn't have an anime club I'll start one and name it Genshiken. |

Not just you, I was so soo happy when I read this. I never bothered watching the OVA episodes because I knew it would just make me want a second season even more. This is one of my favorite series of all time, and I'm really hyped with this, and the second season of GSG as well. |

Hold on a minute! Will they be putting the OVA episodes with the season 2? You know. Showing the eps 13-15 and then new episodes afterwards? |

great to hear the Genshiken kids are back - especially considering where the story goes after episode 15 - but I have to admit, there was a serious drop off in quality with the three OVAs. did anyone else notice? lot of corners were cut.
hope they put more into this second season... |

I find it sort of odd that this one is being directed and produced by guys who've worked mostly on hentai. Well, I wouldn't mind seeing Saki or Kanako in a little "action" . |

I have a doujin with Sasahara x Ogiue.
Plus a peeping Suzie (which was the best part). |

It's weird to see Susana and Angela appear on the site.
I'm glad this series is finally being developed, I thought it would never come.
BTW, I like how the character designs resemble those from Kio Shimoku's current style. |

I see that they're going the ame route as the OAV and basing the character designs more off the manga. I sort of preferred the look of the first series more, but as a fan of the manga as well. I can't really complain. Saki gets more and more redheaded each time, and the'ts always a plus. |

I found one that is OhnoxKohsaka
I think they had to explain some weird acting around the room afterwards |

Oh man this+New Eva movies+Gunslinger girls season 2+(too many new DVD and manga licenses that would take way too long to name) are making so, so....happy, yes that's the word. The only way to top this year would be if they announced a School Rumble season 3. The Final Year...then my head would explode from the sheer awesomeness of this existence. Also, who wants to bet that they'll try and finish re-telling the manga with this series? I hope so(as long as they don't have to cram everything in of course). |

Weird while it was buffering, I caught one odd little inside joke. In the background the animators snuck in photos of two Genshiken figures of Ohno.
Anyway, this news is awesome. Right now, as our first showing of the year, our club is showing Genshiken. I'll have to bookmark this to show it after we show the last ep. |
