Since Funimation has licensed this (many years ago) shouldn't the Funimation title of Corpse Princess: Kuro be used? Just wondering, seeing as how Corpse Princess: Aka is being used for the first 13 episodes.....

It may just be that no editor has ever noticed or, and I'm starting to get deja vu here so I may have looked into this before, that Funimation just refer to it as it the second part of Corpse Princess, which you can't readily as as a title since "This title already exists".
I've managed to do "Corpse Princess (TV)" and "Corpse Princess (TV 2)" but it's not exactly elegant. --edit-- Hang on, they do on the website say
I think we can legitimately list them as "Corpse Princess: Aka" and "Corpse Princess Kuro" given that. They've also technically now taken to calling it "Corpse Princess: Shikabane Hime" but that's an added complication I don't think we need since we have the Japanese title listed separately. |
