Barnes & Noble manga run:
Nisekoi 16 (and I am doing my damndest to avoid spoilers with the series ending in Japan... at the current bimonthly rate, Viz will give us Vol 25/26, whichever is the last, in Jan 2018/March 2018... so I have to avoid spoilers for another year and a half, tough when you're a follower of a Facebook group that loves posting scanalated spoilers  ...while it's fairly obvious how it will end, I don't want to know it FOR SURE until I read the volumes  LOL)

Fortunately for me, I didn't actually need this "in stock" sale because my Otakon program book had a coupon code in it! Which I noticed because I actually flipped through it, lol! It was also for 10% off, but it was everything, not just stuff in stock, so that's pretty boss. So I got all my obscure nerdy stuff that doesn't go on studio sales ever basically. And I was waiting for one certain item to be listed as well, and it was today! I wonder if I can use that coupon code more than once...
Behind Story 2, 3 Land of Silver Rain 4,6,7 Osamu Tezuka Story Otherworld Barbara 1 Sweet Blood 2,3,4,5 Y'know, I saw that Osamu Tezuka book at Otakon, it's like, 900 pages all in one gigantic tome! I am excited for that one! And Netcomics doesn't seem to get sales, so I tend to treat these sales like they're Netcomics sales, lol. But given that Otherworld Barbara and Sweet Blood 5 were out of stock (and OB in particular is expensive as all hell), the Otakon code was better in this case. I know Sweet Blood 5 came out in July (as did Give to the Heart 7, but I picked that up at Otakon), so hopefully they can get some in soon. *edit PSN sale! RPG time! Dark Cloud 2-great action RPG, I've already played it, but trophies!! Hooray! FF9-I may need to dust off my PSP, I can play most of my PS1 PSN games on there, after all Bastion Teslagrad Now to download them whenever, lol! |

So bought & pre-ordered a fair amount recently. Bunch of sales at stores and there was also Otakon. I think I'm pretty much done until the holidays. There are a bunch of releases in mid to late November I want but I'm not sure what to pre-order now or wait to see if they wind up on holiday sales. I got time to decide. Got lucky and found Lucky Star manga Vol. 2 at Goodwill. I looked around for about 10 minutes trying to see if there was any other volumes of it, but nada. But for under a $1 and I don't quite need the first volume yet to read this one, figured I'd snag it up and work on trying to buy the other volumes as I go along.
