Watch it, absorb it, really give it some thought, and you'll get my full reaction next week.

Nintendo Switch, you say? I used to have a debit card that used such a name. Fortunately the brand is sufficiently old that the otherwise quotidian word 'switch' can be re-applied for a new commercial venture.

So exist archive is just another portable JRPG, sad but predictable. Those character model looks so ridiculous, they remind me of the "bratz" toys/Barbie. Laughing

Since when are the more than 31 days in October? (at the time of typing) it says YOMAWARI: Night Alone comes out October 35th but im gonna guess some one hit the 3 key instead of the 2 key.

I blame Nintendo.

Exist Archive: I've got my copy of the game, just not a PS4 yet. However, I'm not going to go out and rush into it. I've got other games to finish and it's not like the PS4 is going extinct anytime soon, so I'm good. I've watched a few gameplay videos and it definitely has the Valkyrie Profile vibe, though its dungeons look a bit more like Silmeria than Lenneth's, since quite a few dungeons and transition stages in the former consisted of just walking from one end of the room to the other. I need to finish Trails of Cold Steel II and SMT IV: Apocalypse first before I can make any judgments though. However, I can say this: if you loved Valkyrie Profile's combat, you'll love this. Combo chains are the name of the game.

As for the story, well there is one notably shared trait from the VP titles, particularly from Covenant of the Plume: spoiler[you apparently need to send characters back to Earth in order to progress with the story smoothly; you can still keep your characters if you want, but it apparently makes the game much harder the longer you go on without doing that].

Link's Awakening 64: Let's face it, the Nintendo ban is going to happen. Nothing escapes their eyes.

World of Final Fantasy: Time to see how many people complain about the characters changing shape into big-headed chibi dolls and make a point about that in their reviews. It would make that ranting about Exist Archive's character models seem tame in comparison.

Yomawari: Night Alone:

It's so cute until you die a horrible, horrible, bloody death.

Does that actually happen in this game if you get caught by a monster? Like "little girl gets her head or limbs bitten off" bloody death?

So the NX is pretty much a high powered version of the PS Vita\PSTV combo with the handheld part being capable of multiplayer. I am curious on how well the WiFi will work because I would love to play splatoon on the go but pretty sure nobody in range will have it

I hope the Switch delivers in the gaming department, I want to see a decent Gundam game on the Switch as the trash console known as the WiiU did not have one while the Wii had one and the GC had several.

I really wish people understood what fair use is. I mean this for BOTH sides.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has already gotten flack. One of the reasons is the lack of a Steam release (no surprise on either end here). The second reason is the lack of female characters.

Xenoverse 2 peaks my interest but I'm low on cash.

I am a fan of Valkyrie Profile so I will check out this game a bit more.

Only a couple more sleeps until World Of Final Fantasy.

Can anyone recommend a good JRPG for PC from either this year, last year or 2014? AOT Wing Of Freedom is not an RPG but I already got this one and it's really great. Tales Of Zestiria was already finished as well, and I can't wait for Tales of Berseria.

Trails in the Sky Second Chapter got localized last year. It's the superior version to the PSP release.

The Switch is just one big jumble of concerns for me. There's a lot of potential issues that the console is gonna have to address like durability, capacity and performance in portable mode. If this tweet is to be believed, I won't get those answers anytime soon.
